Elizabeth Milligan currently serves as the Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator for the University of Maryland School of Music. Prior to this position, they served as the Visual and Performing Arts Admissions Counselor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Their work in the field of higher education began as an undergraduate student ambassador, orientation guide, and researcher at UMBC.
As an educator and performer, they have maintained a modest performance schedule and studio of private students since beginning their career as a flutist at the age of 16. They hold a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Contemporary American Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, as well as a Master of Music from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
