CANCELED: Coming Together: UMD Wind Ensemble

Principal Trombone of “The President's Own” United States Marine Band Gunnery Sergeant Samuel Barlow will join the UMD Wind Ensemble (UMWE) for Andrew Boysen's Concerto for Trombone and Wind Symphony. Bringing it all together, the program will also feature Donald Grantham's brilliant masterwork Southern Harmony and Cynthia Van Maanen's new work Elegy for Our Children.

Under the direction of Associate Director of Bands Andrea Brown, UMWE performs works from the most respected repertoire written for wind band with a focus on highlighting women composers and composers of color.
