Ming Li, RPT, serves as the head of piano technician for University of Maryland School of Music since 1991. His background in piano technology includes a Diploma from Perkins School of Piano technology and a certificate of Piano technology from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He held an assistant piano technician at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 1990. Ming received a complete training from the C.F. Theodore Steinway Technical Academy in New York factory. His training in Steinway Technical Academy included Damper installation and regulation, Action regulation, Tuning and tone production and Concert preparation. He also teaches piano technology to apprentice students at the school of music.
