Form 8233 is only for F-1 students who are able to claim exemption from federal taxes by virtue of a treaty between the United States of America and their country of residence.

This form is used for guest speakers, masterclass presenters, etc. To use this form, the individual must be a U.S. citizen and not on payroll with the University of Maryland.
Student Payment Request Form
This form is required for any sponsor who needs to have a student paid for performances or other duties on a one-time basis. This form goes to the School of Music business office for further processing.
Travel Authorization Form
Used to request approval for travel that results in campus absence and to request travel funding.
