This concert of new music features compositions by School of Music student composers Ray Fields and Rizgar Ismael brought to life by student musicians Madeleine Jansen, Grace Wang and Johnny Shaw IV. Fields's Breathing will spotlight dancer Tessa Hom with choreography and videography by Adrienne Kraus Latanishen. New Music at Maryland concerts cultivate the talent of emerging student composers and inspire musicians and audience members alike. Learn more about New Music at Maryland in this feature story that ran in The Diamondback in 2019.
