This is the first lecture recital in Laura Curl's DMA recital series entitled "Singer as Collaborator." This lecture recital is an informative look at what singers should consider when performing with instruments other than piano. Including works by Previn, Massenet, Beach, Tosti, and Bernstein, this recital features a wide range of music for soprano, cello, and piano. Joined by excellent collaborators and fellow DMA students Wesley Hornpetrie on cello and Rhys Burgess on piano, this recital will provide food for thought for musicians and non-musicians alike.
