Student Degree Recital: Yurong Yang D.M.A. collaborative piano
Pianist Yurong "Ria" Yang, joined by cellist Emily Doveala, clarinetist Kenny Wang, and pianist Ying-Shan Su, will present works by Russian composer Nikolai Kapustin (1937-2020) and British composer Joseph Horovitz (1926-). Even though all the works were written using classical forms, jazz and popular music influences are interwoven throughout each composition.
