About Us
The Terrapin Community Music School at the University of Maryland School of Music is thrilled to offer music classes for students of all ages. We currently offer caregiver and child classes in addition to one-on-one instruction for middle and high school students with at least one year of experience on their instrument.

Terrapin Community Music School: Academy
Designed to increase the accessibility of music education, our Academy and Academy Prep programs provide local students with weekly musicianship classes and private one-on-one lessons with School of Music graduate students.

Hatchling Community Music Program
The Hatchling Community Music Program consists of weekly caregiver and child music classes that expose parents to developmentally appropriate musical practices to use with their children both in class and at home.
