TERRAPIN COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL: ACADEMY

Our High School Program is currently looking for students from Maryland with at least one year of experience on their instrument. The program provides students with one-on-one lessons, group coachings and musicianship courses, all culminating in a recital performance at the end of the semester.

One-On-One Lessons

Participants receive collaborative, private lessons from graduate assistants from the School of Music. Students are encouraged to pick their own repertoire and decide what goals they want to achieve throughout the semester.

Group Coaching

Students are assigned to groups with others who share their instrument for group instruction from graduate assistants and guest artists. Group coachings provide students with the opportunity to meet and perform in front of their peers.
